The initial stepping stones have been set, and 2019 promises to be very exciting for PC gamers. Valve still needs to overcome a couple of challenges, such as to get Steam Link to work on iOS devices ( Apple is still stonewalling Steam Link) and get rid of various connectivity issues. This is a big step up from the PC gaming community, as there hasn’t been a reliable way to play games remotely before. The application will launch on May 21st and will allow users to stream on iOS, Android, and Smart TVs using a 5Ghz wifi connection or wired ethernet. By the way, Steam Link is available on BlueStacks and other Android emulators for PC, and, if you can set up controller support, nothing should stop you from playing a game from a laptop on a trip. Unfortunately, there is no computer to computer support at this time, but hopefully, Valve will add this feature. Any computer can stream games over еру internet on Steam Link hardware or Steam Link app available for Android and Raspberry Pi. The company launched Steam Link Anywhere service available in the Beta-client of Steam. Valve decided to remind about itself ahead of the big Google announcement for gamers. ![]()
